Microsoft is very good at knowing what markets they can be successful in and what markets they should avoid.  Usually when Microsoft gets into a new market they tend to take over, become a market leader, and start dictating what direction the market should go in.  Two markets that Microsoft stepped in and dominated when it looked like they had no business being in either one of them was the networking software market and the video game console market.  

Intending to become the market leader in computer networking software, Microsoft entered the market years ago when Novel Netware was on top.  Selecting a platform they felt would make them the number 1 networking software company they not only stole the market from Novell but introduced new concepts and ideas that would make Novells offering completly obsolete the moment it was introduced.

Now Microsoft is starting to do the same thing with their XBOX 360 pro system and the XBOX accessories that are being released are an indication that the rest of the video game industry better put their thinking caps on and find a way to stay with Microsoft or else the new line of XBOX 360 accessories could threaten to leave them in the dust.  The newest line of Microsoft XBOX 360 accessories are all part of a way to play video games that others have introduced the past but, as always, Microsoft is setting out to improve.

In the past there has been remedial forms of interactive gaming systems obtainable, however no one has taken the effort and opportunity to perfect it.  It is becoming apparent that Microsoft with their new product lines for Xbox 360 accessories are going to pave the path for other to walk in order to remain in business.  Two of the latest accessories in the product line are the modem and headset.  Using the modem will enable you to hook up your local wireless router and connect to anyone in the world with your Xbox system.  The headset will allow you to listen and speak to others of which you are gaming with.

Microsoft has always been a tough competitor, and with the new Xbox 360 accessories that are being introduced reveal that Microsoft is again trying to dominate and revolutionize the market in which they had a late entry.  With  the new lines of products and accessories being introduced, they may just accomplish their goals.

For sure you already know that the Xbox 360 is one of the most popular video game consoles that were ever released.  In terms of performance, the Xbox 360 shines above the competition. From the unbelievable playing experience it provides, to the impressive graphics, this game system can astonish even the pickiest of players.
But, even though the Xbox 360 for certain is awesome, there are some common issues associated with it.

Some of the hardware problems that may happen with the Xbox 360 are also the famed red light error, and DVD drive issue.Ordinarily, there are 3 basic cases of LED problems that that may happen to your Xbox 360.

If a green light is displayed, you can be certain Xbox is operating properly. If the red light is on, then you’ll know your Xbox 360 is encountering a problem.

If one read light is on it is an E74 error; the 2 red light error it suggests that the unit is too warm and if there are 3 red lights it indicates general hardware failure. Those problems typically experienced with the Xbox 360 are shown as red lights on the power button when you are starting your console. If only one red light is on, than you’ll probably see an error message on the screen.  This 1 red light error is showing an E74 error, and that means that the unit’s scaler chip has burned out.

The scaler chip is what is giving the Xbox 360 its quality graphics.  If you are experiencing this problem, you should phone the support center of yours Xbox 360 to report it. There are big chances that you can send them your Xbox 360 to be repaired.

If you have 2 red lights on the power button, then this indicates that your Xbox 360 has overheated. You can resolve this issue by shutting down the Xbox console, and let it cool off for a couple of minutes You should try to avoid overheating when you use it next time, as this could finally be leading to hardware problems or the all too popular red ring of death, as well famous as the 3 red lights error.   

If your Xbox 360 is too hot often, you should be cleaning it to remove the dust from the unit. Also, make sure to put console unit out in the open area with adequate ventilation.

If you get the 3 red light error, this shows a hard problem with your console.  This 3 lights tells you that your console has experienced a general hardware problem, and you should send it to Microsoft for fixing.

If you get 4 red lights. That’s typically nothing to be concerned with, since it might just be that the wire isn’t properly attached. Check the connector and you’ll probably resolve the problem.

If you get the problem of DVD drive error, or when the Xbox 360 is incapable to read the DVD that is also caused by overheating.  If you experience this problem, you will need to send the console to Microsoft to be fixed.

Shooter fans are bound to love Halo 3 and Gears of War, while RPG gamers are not left out in the cold with Xbox 360 video games. The RPG enthusiast will find Fable 2 and Age of Conan to their liking. Other big titles like Call of Duty 4, Mass Effect, and Bioshock will appeal to a large variety of players. To be able to play these games though, gamers will need an Xbox 360 game system. The current 20 Gb model is being sold at $300, while the new 60 Gb vesion will once again cost $350 (what the 20 Gb model cost until recently). With the system, gamers will be able to experience Xbox 360 video games in full HD 1080i (with support for 1080p). That’s the absolute best that gamers can ask for with the current generation of televisions, although computer monitors are capable of displaying slightly higher resolutions.

If you’re a gamer who has held off on buying the Xbox 360 probecause of a lack of titles, all of the Xbox 360 video games available today (let alone what will be available a year from now) should be more than enough to convince even the hardest of critics to purchase the console. What they will get for $350 is the most grahically intensive video game console experience. With hundreds of titles to choose from, any gamer will be pleased with the extensive game selection.
