Top 5 Xbox 360 Console Games - Download Xbox 360 Games Right Here

download xbox 360 games

All Xbox 360 gamers re-unite! New year is just around the corner and guess what? I've just listed the Top 5 most wanted xbox 360 console games for you. Now see, for the rest that don't have Xbox 360, you can grab this list and get your friends some "surprises" too!

Alright, are you ready for this

1. Gears of War 2

This is a sequel of Gears of War original, and to my astonishment this game certainly deserves all the praises. This game has picked up from the last sequel and in fact, experience a much better game play, more characters, not to mention the graphics, it's breathe taking!

2. Call of Duty: World at War

Now you'll love this game if you want to experience an actual war, and yet too cheesy to be at one. The visuals combining with highly intelligent gameplay pushed the game to the furthest extent I’ve seen. The weapons and machineries are so real, you'll wonder if there's a war going behind your yard if i'm playing next door!

3. Fallout 3

Fallout 3 will be on the Top 3 of Xbox 360 console games. The superb graphics coupled with nightmare kind of background visuals of the world after a nuclear fallout. It certainly gave me creeps when I'm playing Fallout 3 especially when facing the "gone-bad" humans due to the radiations.

4. Left 4 Dead

Now for those that have fascinations for zombies, this is for you. These "bad boys" are the all-time favourite, be it games or movies, zombies are just the perfect characters as villains. You'll have to stay alive throughout the hordes of zombies and their bosses. Now go kill some zombies!

5. Fable II

Fable II picks up 500 years after the events of the first fable game, very creative and well laid storyline. With certain actions you can make a person good, or bad in this game. But the mature contents in the game might be some restrictions when you’re buying for your friends, make sure they’re old enough to be playing this!

Now, I suppose you're already feeling the itch in your spines to get those games, yeah? Are you thinking of downloading them? Well, don’t just go all out and sign up for any Xbox 360 game download sites yet, most of them are scams!

Here, I’ve reviewed the best Xbox 360 game download site that is perfectly safe, without trojans and all.

Well, why are you still waiting?

Download xbox 360 games right here and.. Go multiplaying with your friends immediately!

Enjoy,

Which Console Is Worth Your Money This Christmas

With Christmas creeping closer, many kids will be asking for a new next gen console this year. But which one is the best for your family? With the 3 main next gen consoles, Xbox 360, Playstation 3 and Nintendo Wii, all competing against each other, which one is the best to get?

Lets start with the Xbox. After a price cut in September, you can pick up an Xbox 360 for £130, this makes it the cheapest of all 3 of the consoles. But, for your £130, you will only get the arcade system which doesn't come with a hard drive or games, so, what about console bundles. For the arcade system, you can get the console, 3 games and 2 controllers for around £160. As for the premium console, this comes with a 60GB hard drive. You can get a bundle which comes with 3 games and 2 controllers for around £200. And if you want to go for the best Xbox, the Xbox 360 Elite, this one contains a 120GB hard drive and bundles which include 3 games and 2 wireless controllers will cost around £260.

Overall, the Xbox is a great console with many Xbox exclusive games. Also, with a massive online community, it's perfect for any family.

On to console number 2, the Nintendo Wii. The Nintendo Wii is a great family console, with many fun and family interactive games that will keep the young kids entertained for hours. The standard console will cost £180 and for a bundle, which contains the console, 2 controllers, 2 nunchucks and 4 games, £270.

Overall the Nintendo Wii is a great console, with a massive selection of family fun games, it will keep your whole family entertained for hours.

The last console is the Playstation 3, it's the newest and the most exspensive of the 3. The Playstation is very similar to the Xbox, except that the Playstation comes with a Blu-ray DVD players installed. Also, in the last few days, Sony released their new online community, Playstation Home, which is free for all Playstation owners.

As for the console price, the standard console which includes a 40GB hard drive will cost just under £295. As for a bundle, you can get an 80GB Playstation with 4 games for around £300.

Obviously the Playstation is the most exspensive, but value for money, I would not say it's worth it. Although the console is similar to the Xbox 360, the Playstation gets less exclusive content than the Xbox, however, with the Playstation, you get free access to the Playstation Network, whereas you have to pay for Xbox Live.

Finally, I would say that the Xbox 360 is the best for online and solo gaming, if you are after family and child friendly gaming, the Nintendo Wii is the best bet.

Here's how you can copy xbox games

Copying XBOX games must be on the minds of a lot of gamers, because we have been getting a lot of questions about this topic recently!  Lots of people are used to making copies of their music CDs, but aren’t sure how they can do the same with their games.

Today, we’re going to explain exactly how copying XBOX games is possible. Now, we don't want to put a damper on things, but we need to stress one point.

We aren’t writing this article with the intention of having people make illegal copies of XBOX games.Making backup copies of games you own is completely legal - this is what we're explaining today.

Allright - let's dive right in.  And don’t worry - we’re not going to throw a lot of technical or complicated instructions at you.Don't worry - this is really easy to do.

You might be asking yourself - Why can’t I just use the same software that I use to burn music CDs to make copies of my XBOX games?

Well, because if you want to copy xbox games you need a more technologically advanced program.

All video game come with guards on them.  This protection makes it impossible for your computer to “read” the disc unless you have a certain program installed.  When your computer isn’t able to read the disc, it’s impossible for it to produce a copy.

There are a few copmanies that have produced software programs specifically for making backups of video games. When the program is installed all of a sudden your computer can make sense of what is on the disc and read the game data.

Once you download and install a program designed for this function, it's a piece of cake from then on.  The program makes it easy - you put in the game, let your computer make a copy on your hard drive, then insert a blank disc (DVD-R) and wait for your computer to transfer the data onto the disc.

I know it might sound overly simple, but that’s really all there is to it!  It’s so easy a monkey could do it…

One piece of advice - don’t overpay for this type of program.  I have seen programs that are over $100 - there’s absolutely no need to pay this much. You can find a program that works amazing for less than $40.  Although some companies charge more and use all sorts of fancy marketing, you won’t get anything more for your money.

Without a doubt, this is the best way to produce backups of you games. This makes making backup copies of your xbox games possible whenever you want.  Enjoy!

Can The Playstation 3 Save Sony?

After Sony announced job cuts for it's electronic division, Katsuhiko Mori, fund manager at Daiwa SB Investments, said in an interview with the BBC: "Sony doesn't have any core businesses that generate stable profits". But will the Playstation 3 console save Sony?

Although some people may point out that since the Playstation 3's release in 2006, the console hasn't actually made a profit, and this is because of the simple fact that Sony are selling the console for less than it costs them to make it. And it has been like that since it's release, Sony purposely reduced the price below their manufacturing costs so they could break into the market.

Although this may seem rather odd, Sony have used this tactic every time they release a console, even though the competition was tough, the did it with the Playstation 3.

Their plan was to release a high specification console at a loss which will last for many years, but will make them a profit later on. But will it prove to be successful this time? With the high pressure competition that Microsoft creates while selling the Xbox 360, and the new type of market that the Nintendo Wii creates, will Sony manage to make enough profits to cover their losses?

The problem is that Sony will not start to reduce the price of the Playstation 3 until they start to make a profit. However, as the consoles price is very high, alot higher than it's competition, Sony won't make a proportion of the overall console sales, which will cause them to lose more money for longer.

Although all that sounds a bit bleak for Sony, there is one upside that they have, Blu-ray. It was lucky for them really that Blu-ray came out on top of the DVD battle. If HD DVD had won the battle, it would have not given the Playstation 3 any edge over it's competition.

So, at the moment, it's not looking good for Sony, also, with their release of their new online community, Playstation Home, already being shot down by Microsoft and EA. Both of them have said that Sony's latest attempt at creating an online community is not directed and out of date while moving in no direction.

Aaron Greenberg, a manager at Xbox 360 game console division, stated: "When they unveiled it, it seemed innovative. I think what’s happened is now here we are a couple of years later and we feel beyond that. It feels like 2005 tech in 2008.”.

Hawkins said: "I can't tell if they're going towards this mass market idea…or if they’re being lured into essentially trying to compete with Warcraft or Second Life”.

After Sony has spent alot of time and money on their new online community, it has just been shot down, personally to me it just seems like an idea of earning money, there are several things within the new world that requires money to buy, and they also have sections of the world which are sponsored by different companies like Red Bull. I'm pretty sure that not all gamers will want to be spammed with adverts while walking around.

Overall, the future is not looking good for Sony, they are betting that the Playstation 3 will sell enough to make them money, which it currently isn't, so they won't reduce the price of the console until it is, but because the price is too high, buyers are being turned off. Who knows what position Sony will be in if their console doesn't start to sell more units.

Will Full Game Downloads Come To Xbox Live?

During an interview for Gamesindustry.biz, Peter Molyneux, maker of the Fable games, hinted that Xbox 360 owners could soon see full game downloads coming to Xbox Live.

Within the interview, Peter said “I think it would be a great thing for this studio to work on. I can’t say anything else of it – I would be killed to death”.

At the moment, you can download some games from Xbox Live and the Playstation Network, however, the games available are limited to older titles and ones that take up less hard drive space.

Although some people may think that this is some sort of heaven, the idea of being able to download the latest games without having to leave the four walls of your home, the reality will bring you back down to Earth.
At the moment, if you were to download a full Xbox game onto your hard drive, it would steal around 6GB of space and take a very long time to download.

Although these problems could be worked around, considering the Elite Xbox has a 120GB hard drive, also, the option to download the games over night, however, there are still problems that need to be considered.

Firstly, the second hand market would go down, as there would be no second hand games, the prices would not go down.
Also, because the games would take around 6GB of space each, the hard drive space would be drained quickly, with a 120GB hard drive only taking around 20 games with a rather large price tag of £100, many people will not like to dish out their dosh.
This will all lead to people deleting their games, many people won’t want to buy a new hard drive when it comes to getting a new game, and because of that, they will become more choosy when it comes to buying a game.

Also, the idea would not work for the arcade systems which don’t have a hard drive included.

Although there are several downsides, there is one upside. Because the games are online, the prices of them may go down as there would be no need for packaging costs.

Overall, I find the idea rather pointless. The only major advantage is that you don’t have to leave your home, but if you order online, you don’t have to do that anyway.

Latest Call of Duty Is HOT!

.

Video Game - Call of Duty World at War Preview

Treyarch Takes Over The Fight!

In the short time since the Call of Duty franchise began, there have been many developers involved in working on the video game… some fleeting, some long-term.  Despite this lack of stability, the Call of Duty name remains rock solid reaching a pinnacle last year with Modern Warfare in Call of Duty 4.

Call of Duty World at War  looks good… Damn Good!

Treyarch is building on the foundation set by the Modern Warfare engine, but the studio has been given an unprecedented amount of time to work on the new title.2009 will prove that the vetran team behind Call of Duty have quite possibly created the best FPS ever.

The last Call of Duty 4 was all about Modern Warefare… In this version of Call of Duty, you experience World War II episodes with Japanese and German death scenes set in lush jungles instead of tight cramped trenches.   The Japanese forces are programmed to focus on infiltration and ambush tactics along with Banzai charges, ambush attacks, and even kamikaze fighters which were unlike anything the American forces ever dealt with during the European Theater.

Technically and graphically, the game looks fantastic - as impressive as the viuals of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare.  Everything has been amped up thanks to the COD 4 engine. The game’s realism is uncanny. With destructible environments and bullet trajectory changes when shooting into water make this game engine so real it’s life like.

The awesome new flamethrower weapon can cause much damage but also provide a tactical advantage when used properly.  The flames of the flamethrower in Call of Duty World at War burns all foliage in its path, scorched the ground, spread based on wind patterns and undergrowth.

The two exclusive missions that were demonstrated live at Treyar headquarters was a mission on the Pacific campaign which included .50 caliber machine guns on either side of a PBY Catalina boat plane to take out the Japancese merchant fleet below.  This mission showcased some of the massive destruction possible in the game.

This is the best Call of Duty game so far.  Keep an eye out for it.

Video Games Definitely Need Ratings These Days

Video game rating were unheard of when I was younger. You see the graphics weren’t very good and the games were not very hard. A video game rating system was not needed at the time. After all, there was nothing grossly violent or graphic to rate!

Nowadays, things have changed quite a bit. It’s big business to review and rate video games these days. You see, the video game industry has grown terrifically in the last 20 years. It used to be something for nerdy teenage and pre-teen boys, but today everybody from elementary school kids to professionals play video games. Video game magazines are very popular these days and game stores sell massive amounts of games every year.

All of this brought about a new video game ratings business. Movie and video game ratings are pretty much the same. They are pretty self explanatory. As a rule on the box it tells you whether it is proper for teens, all audiences, or only adult viewers. For the younger viewers it’s important that it will tell you if the videogame has appropriate content. Usually this means violence, but occasionally there are other adult themes as well.

Believe it or not, video game reviews are as important to a potential buyer as ratings are nowadays. There are hundreds of video games that come out every year, but most of them are not very good. The first person shooter has become such a successful platform that it has spawned a whole industry of basically identical games. Don’t get me wrong – there are plenty of very good first person shooters, but there are also plenty that are a spin-off and inessential. Before you purchase one, you want to make sure that it is the absolute one for you. Otherwise, you’ll be sorely disappointed and have to go out and buy another one.

The good thing about video game ratings and reviews is that they cover everything in so much detail. Many of them deal with issues of playability, graphics, storyline, addictiveness, and other areas as well. That way, you can understand everything about a game before you begin playing it. It’s very important that you look at the video game ratings before you plunk down your hard earned cash. That way you’ll get you money’s worth out of the deal. Just because the game has a great screen shot doesn’t mean you should buy it. You will never know if it is a unbelievable game until you to take it for a spin or read about it.

Make sure you take a look at the ratings on your favorite video games for the Nintendo Game Cube to make certain they are the right thing for your children.

Which Game Is Your Favorite This Year?

As the year of 2008 comes to a close, it’s good to have a look back at all of the games that have been released throughout the year and to decide on which one is the best of 2008.

Throughout the whole year we’ve had some awesome game releases on the Playstation 3, Xbox 360 and Nitendo Wii, however, I would have to say that the later part of the year was definately the best as there were dozens of new releases from September to November, those games have really done a good job of keeping me and millions of other gamers entertained during the year.

Here are just a few of the awesome games that have been released in the past year:

Lost Odyssey - I thought this game was pretty good, although the combat of the game was not my favorite it was still good gameplay, but also, extremely long, 4 disks, really took some time to get through it all.

Condemned 2 - Even though the game is rather brutal and not for the feint of hear, the complex puzzles and hand to hand combat makes the game really good. The game can get rather tense at times which really brings you into the game.

Battlefield: Bad Company - Bad Company is my favorite Battlefield game so far simply because it’s the only one with an actual campaign. The feature of being able to blow a hole in a wall was awesome, you could be in a building and make a door out anywhere you want.

Lego Indiance Jones - I am a huge fan of the Lego games, I think they are amazing and great fun. Although the Lego games are pretty short, the humour and gameplay to the games are awesome.

Lego Batman - Pretty much the same game as Lego Indiana but with a few new features, still an awesome game to play, especially as a group. Every Lego game so far has been great, they are fun for the whole family and everyone will enjoy them.

Civilization Revolution - I only played this game a few times on the Xbox 360 but I thought it was amazing, alot different from any other Civilization game.

Devil May Cry 4 - I know alot of people that love this game, but I don’t see the amusement with it. I played the demo on the Xbox 360 and thought, “hmm, alot of jumping”. I thought the game was extremely repetitive, not my cup of tea.

Mario Kart Wii - Although I am not a great fan of the Mario games, I did like this one. Especially when you use the Wii steering wheel, it makes it a great game to play, a must play for any Mario and Wii lover.

GRID - I was never impressed by this game, the graphics were good yes, but I thought the ability to rewind time if you crash was rather silly.

Burnout Paradise - The only problem with this game is that it’s repetitive, you do alot of races and then get a new license, once you get that license you have to repeat all of the races again, just a little bit harder to get another license. Overall I thought the game was good for a drive around but the campaign can get rather tiresome after a while.

Super Smash Bros. Brawl - Even though I only played the game twice it was great fun when I played it. The simple controls and fast paced gameplay makes it really fun as a party. The ability to jump around as your favorite Nintendo characters, it’s a great party game.

Metal Gear Solid 4 - Although this game has alot of cut scenes, which can be rather lengthy, the bit where you get to play are brilliant, I thought the graphics were top notch and the story line great, when you got to play it that is.

Rock Band - Brilliant, I have always loved the Guitar Hero games, but when this was released I just had to get it, I loved the set list and loved the new instruments, awesome game and a must play for any music game lover.

Rock Band 2 - I thought this game was awesome, an even longer set list than Rock Band 1 with some amazing songs to play, a must play for any music game lover.

Guitar Hero World Tour - This game, like with Rock Band is a wicked game, the new instruments were brilliant but I thought the set list really dragged it down, it depends on your taste but I wasn’t amazed by it.

Grand Theft Auto 4 - You can’t really complain about GTA, all of the other GTA’s have been brilliant but this one just topped the lot. Outstanding graphics and the ability to change the way the game ends depending on the choices you make just makes it even better. Plus with the addition of new content coming next year, the game just gets deeper and better.

World of Warcraft: Wrath of the Lich King - Most likely only World of Warcraft players will want to read this one, it was a great game, with a new level cap, new raid cotent, a new class and new professions. This game will keep me busy for many following months.

Gears of War 2 - Brilliant, just one word needed really. The grpahics of the game were outstanding and the storyline was just amazing, it was full of action and non stop shooting. This is a must have game for any Xbox 360 owner.

Star Wars: The Force Unleashed - There was a lot of hype about this game but I personally was not majorly impressed. The whole look and gameplay was great but the storyline was really short, plus with no online play it was really only a few days of playing and then thats it, it tends to sit on the shelf gathering dust now.

Left 4 Dead - If you loved games like Counter Strike and Half Life, you will love this, it’s made by the same people, Valve, but this time it’s based on zombies. You work as a team of 4 people to escape from the city. I particularly like the emphasis the game has on team work and the realistic guns and weapons.

Fable 2 - In one way this game was really good, and in another it was ok. The whole storyline, new graphics and ability to change the whole game by making one decision is awesome. But the length and difficulty of the game was a let down, I found it to be alot shorter than the original Fable and it was also alot easier as you didn’t seem to face any major bosses. Even though it has some downsides, It’s still a great game.

Mirror’s Edge - Some might say this is a bad game, too much like Assassins Creed, but I loved Assassins Creed. I personally thought that Mirror’s Edge was great, the graphics were outstanding and the whole storyline was great, the only downside I found was the cut scenes, they looked really poor to be honest.

Far Cry 2 - This has to be one of the best games of 2008, the ability to change the game as you play and having to cope with malaria just makes the game more intense. You have a great range of weapons plus some of the features that make the game more challanging is great. All of these things make it brilliant, one of the best of 2008.

Call of Duty 5: World of War - This game had a lot to live up to, considering Call of Duty 4: Modern Combat won several Goldden Joystick Awards. I wasn’t as entertained as it went back to the World Wars instead of staying with modern combat. But that aside, the gameplay and graphics were great, although it didn’t quite live up to the reputation left by CoD4.

All of the games listed above were brilliant to play and lots of fun, but when it comes to choosing a game of 2008, it’s a really difficult one. Although it’s a hard decision, I would have to say that Gear of War 2 is my game oif the year, simply because of the constant fighting and action, plus with it’s great graphics and storyline, it makes it the best game of 2008. What’s your favorite game of 2008?

Caribbean Holidays are always relaxing during the Winter.

Fifa 09 MM

Last week I treated myself to a brand new xbox 360 and the new Fifa 2009 football game. I was looking forward to the release of the next Fifa installment for a long time and I was excited about what new features and things they had added to the game. When I play the FIfa games I enjoy using the manager mode. I like making the transfers and managing the football squad, it is fun! Just as enjoyable as the rest of the game. Yet it doesn't appear that the EA Sports team seem to think the same. The latest installment of the Fifa series has completely disappointed my expectation by ripping out several features of the manager mode rather than adding stuff in which is just a total surprise!

Last year's Fifa 08 mm (manager mode) was really good and I was so excited to see what they had improved on and much to my anger an frustration they have changed nothing. As I said they have ripped stuff out more than they have added stuff in! I dont understand why they would do that? I dont know why would they think it is a good idea to take stuff out of the game than put more stuff in there? It's not like the next generation consoles can't handle it or is it too much work for them! ?

One of the most shocking things is that no one else has commented on this as far as I know except for me! Am I the only one who likes the Fifa manager mode? I do however have to give due to the gameplay, it is better than it has ever been. And that is amazing but you can't just focus on one area of a game per year, surely it has to be an entire comprehensive advancement and not just in little bits here and there. I am very confused and frustrated at why they have decided to do this as I really enjoy the Fifa manager mode. I would love an explanation as I am just so frustrated with the service that EA have provided to the community. A patch is no closer to be released and the Fifa community is just getting more and more mad with the EA developement team. I am suprised that the support team havn't been more responsive to the mass dis-pleasure with this game. Let's just hope they pull their socks up as soon as possible.

Is the PS3 Worth The Hassle

With the current console battle in a full blown war, we take a look at the Playstation 3 and its huge price tag. A simple yet proven fact is that the PS3 does do justice to its price? The simple answer is no way!

The Playstation 3 is a major piece of machinery and although the price tag may be a lot bigger than its rivals, the three consoles cannot, and should not really be compared. There is definatley a huge war going on between the major consoles. But for an avid gamer you will be losing out on a lot if you do not purchase yourself all three of the top consoles, which are PS3, Xbox 360 and the Wii. We will now take a look at why you need all three.

Playstation 3
Well the ultimate Playstation brand is much loved in the gaming world, and to be honest the PS3 has not let anyone down. Although the console is expensive, lets sit down and think what you are getting. A hard drive, probably a console with the best rendering of graphics, top titles and not to mention the Blu-ray. The Blue-rays probably end up costing more than the whole system.

Xbox 360
The 1st console to launch has a major advantage over its competitors and that is progress. The creators know how to manipulate the xbox to get the best. It has a wider range of titles than the other two.

Wii
The Wii is the console that has opened up a whole new portal to online gaming. Although a lot of the games may not be strict, they are very fun and rewarding to play. The wii is a superb family console that everyone can enjoy.

As you can see from the above all consoles have their own advantages, but one of the main benefits is the broadness of the games. Most games only have sole rights to each console, so not obtaining all three could see you missing out on a great title. Finally I would say the Playstation 3 is well worth a buy.
